Hey guys, time to make another post. We’re on to week five of my wu-yi tea experience! One point I definitely wanted to touch on carries over from week four. Adding a third cup of tea a day into my regimen. I had started out with drinking 2 cups each day. In week 4 I felt I had been doing so well thus far and was really enjoying the tea that I decided to add a 3rd cup into the mix. Now, this kind of throws in a monkey wrench because I will admit I didn’t drink 3 cups every single day, but almost =) So from week 5 on out generally speaking I was drinking tea 3 times a day.

Take that for what it’s worth. Personally I feel it helped me in such a way that it got rid of the mid day snack cravings at the least! My 3rd cup of tea was incorporated around that time of day and seemed to hold me over until dinner time. I ended up using wu-yi tea bags which were easy to have with me at work and quick and easy to fix during a break. Did adding a 3rd cup of tea each day significantly help to lose more weight? Probably not but I do think it was relevant because it contributed in other ways such as fighting the snack cravings. Would I encourage you to drink it 3 times a day? I would have to say that’s honestly your call. Personally I think 2 times a day is ideal and quite sufficient. You can check out the wu-yi tea bags at Generation Tea. Thats where I got them from. I’ll put a direct link to them at the end of the post if you’re interested.

As far as my exercise and diet went, it’s not too far off from what I’ve documented already. Very ligt exercise, no more than about 20 minutes each session. I have to admit that in week 5 I got a bit lazy and only worked out I think like twice. Diet remained about the same but I did cheat once or twice. This particular week was a bad one for me =p Bah, who’s perfect anyway! I will say however that I still was 3 pounds lighter at the end of the week so HA!
