Wu-Yi Tea Results - Two Month Period

End Date: August 31st, 2007
Starting Weight: 200-202 lbs.
Ending Weight: Avg. 180 lbs.
Weight Loss: 17-21 lbs. (fluctuated last week of August)

For the purpose of this “case study” and blog, my results reflect a two month period of using Wu-Yi tea, or oolong tea as most are familiar with. Why only two months you may ask. Well, for two reasons. #1 - It was just over two months ago that indoor soccer kicked my arse and totally gave me a wake up call as to how out of shape I had gotten. That started me on looking for a way to lose a bit of weight. #2 - I just got back from one last trip to the beach this past week which I had on my mind anyway back then because I was dreading the thought of looking like a fat body in public! Needless to say no one kicked sand in my face at the beach.

Actually there’s a #3 I guess… I feel really happy with the results I got and frankly I’m pretty surprised about it still. I truly didn’t expect to lose any weight at all, maybe a pound or two. But drinking this tea really worked and fast! I’m actually still drinking it and plan to continue drinking it regularly I like it so much. Anyway, it worked so well in such a short amount of time that I figured it would make a good example for anyone else who’s interested and been looking into wu-yi tea.

Now for the classic Before and After photos, drum roll please…

Ok, here I am in my fatness. Now I don’t really think I was “overly” fat as I already said. But I definitely needed to lose some pounds. I was always sluggish and tired, had no motivation, and basically just wasn’t comfortable and didn’t feel good. That’s NOT healthy. At this point I was weighing in at 200-202 lbs. depending upon how many liters of pepsi I had that day =p I was forcing my pant size at 36 and could have comfortably fit into size 38. I was reaching the stage if not at the stage where I needed to sit down to put my socks and shoes on because it was a strain to lean over as my big fat gut would stop me from leaning all the way down. I could feel my gut and “love handles” (who the heck came up with that term anyway?!?) being pinched by my belt and actually pushing the elastic waist of my boxers down in front when I took my pants off. There are many more individuals out there heavier than I was I know, but for all of us, no matter how overweight we are it’s not a good thing.

Here I am after the two months of using the Wu-Yi tea! Pretty good I think, definitely not too shabby. Here I’m at about 180 lbs. Towards the last couple weeks I weighed in at 180 give or take a couple lbs. from one day to the next. At this point I was sporting a waist size of 34 with a little extra room even. Right now my 34’s are rather loose and I’m starting to get into size 32’s depending on brand and style of pant. I haven’t worn size 32 waist in years!

You can definitely see the difference! At least I like to think I can, can’t you…? I’m no physical specimen or anything but the big gut is gone. My waist slimmed down several inches, about 5 in fact. I’m toned and have a bit more definition. If I wasn’t a hitman by profession I would show you my face. I lost a lot of weight from my face and neck thank goodness! Losing the weight is great but the other benefit is just feeling great now. I’m no longer sluggish and tired all the damn time. I’ve got more energy and I’m also not as lazy as I use to be… really!

Overall I’m very pleased with the results, especially in such a short span of time. Twenty pounds was great for me, getting their was actually quite comfortable and no hassle at all. I basically drank anywhere from 2-3 cups of wu-yi tea every day. I did in fact improve on my diet slightly. I tried to cut out as much soda as I could and I limited my trips to fast food joints. I tried to exercise at least twice a week with some form of activity even if it was just some jumping-jacks, sit-ups and push-ups. I’ll detail my regimen in another section but as far as results go, I’m happy! So far I haven’t gained the weight back. I’m drinking about two cups of tea a day, every now and then three. I’m even trying to lift weights again and when I get HUGE I may post some current photos to showoff =p
